Dementia Meaningful Engagement helps foreign domestic workers understand how everyday activities and interactions can support the well-being of a person living with dementia. Participants will learn to identify suitable activities based on the person's interests, life story, strengths and abilities.

About This Course
Meaningful engagement can help a person living with dementia feel involved, valued and connected to the people around them. Activities are more meaningful when they reflect the person's interests, past experiences, preferences and remaining abilities.
In this course, participants will learn how to understand the person beyond their dementia, recognise their strengths and interests, and select suitable activities that encourage participation. Participants will also explore how the physical and social environment can support positive and meaningful engagement.
