LOOKING BACK over the past decade working at Dementia Singapore, I can truly say that my experience has been both rewarding and fulfilling. This journey has seen me grow from a young social worker into a leader overseeing a dedicated team of 45 staff members.

Dementia Singapore has offered me a rich tapestry of experiences, allowing me to work on diverse projects, collaborate with various teams, and connect with numerous stakeholders. I am particularly grateful for the opportunities provided by the management to grow in different areas of interest, supported by in-house training that has empowered me to become a better leader.

The commitment and encouragement from the management to cultivate young leaders are truly commendable. Working here feels like being part of a family, where we learn and strive together toward a shared goal of delivering high-quality dementia care. Dementia Singapore has become a second home for me.

It’s heartening to see the management actively embracing a person-centred approach within our work culture. This fosters a supportive environment that encourages creativity to flourish and promotes continuous learning and growth.

As a mother, the flexibility to work from home has been invaluable, helping me maintain a healthy balance between my professional and family life. I am deeply appreciative of the trust and flexibility the organisation extends to its staff in this regard.
