SEPTEMBER 2020
September rolls around, and with it, the annual World Alzheimer’s Month (WAM), a month where we put the spotlight back on dementia and our dementia community.
The theme for WAM2020 is ‘Empowerment’, as we aim to empower and enable every person in Singapore’s dementia community – be it a person living with dementia, their caregivers, relatives, or allies. Those whose lives have been affected by dementia are still capable of living fulfilling and dignified lives, and we can help enable this by building dementia-friendly communities, #DespiteDementia.
Help spread the word, and send this to anyone you know to help them learn more about dementia and the work that ADA does. They can also subscribe to receive future issues.
