WAM2019 Events

World Alzheimer’s Month (WAM) is the international campaign by Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI) held every September to raise awareness and challenge the stigma that surrounds dementia.

ADI’s overarching global theme for WAM 2019 is “Let’s Talk About Dementia: End The Stigma”. Although dementia is a neurodegenerative condition with no cure, individuals living with it can still do anything that they put their minds to, and it is important to recognise that they can lead purposeful and meaningful lives #despitedementia.

Join ADA on 21 September 2019 for the WAM 2019 Carnival to learn more about dementia topics and our care services. Alternatively, check out any of the fun activities and events below to find out more avenues of care and support!
