Dear Friends of Dementia Singapore,

This Christmas marks two full years since COVID-19 entered our lives. Despite the developments of the pandemic, we have remained steadfast in the work that we do to contribute to the dementia community. As we head into a new year, let us reflect on our achievements thus far as we continue to seek your unwavering support in the years ahead.

In September, we successfully rebranded and emerged with a new corporate identity after being known as Alzheimer’s Disease Association over the past 30 years. Our new name and refreshed organisation were well-received by those impacted by dementia, community care partners, and even the media. With your continued support, Dementia Singapore aims to go on serving the dementia community for the next 30 years, and beyond.

We achieved great success with the launches of DementiaHub.SG, Business Toolkit for a Dementia-Inclusive Singapore and CARA. These efforts all contribute to our vision of building Singapore into a dementia-inclusive society.

The cherry on top of the great year was also our National Stadium Light-Up for World Alzheimer’s Day on 21 September. Illuminated in purple and yellow lights, the dome of the National Stadium shone that evening as a beacon of hope and positivity for the dementia cause.

To all our partners, donors, supporters and members of the dementia community, we wish you a wonderful festive season, and only the best triumphs and happiness in 2022!
