Getting the Art and Science of Wellbeing and Happiness 1024 535 Dementia Singapore

How can you practice mindfulness at the workplace? What can caregivers do to improve the caregiving experience? These questions and more will be answered at this year’s edition of the Singapore Mental Health Conference (SMHC), a two-day event aimed to foster collaborations among various sectors to build a society that is mentally healthy and resilient.

Into its fourth year, the SMHC 2017 will be held 8-9 September at MAX Atria @ Singapore EXPO. The conference will provide a useful platform for professionals and consumers in the healthcare, social service, and intermediate- and long-term care sectors, to come and pool together their expertise and ideas on the pertinent issue, and discuss ways to improve and promote mental health in Singapore.

Themed “The Art and Science of Wellbeing and Happiness”, participants can hear from speakers and glean ideas on well-being and mental health through informative talks and panel discussions, deriving key takeaways in topics like the role of education in students’ mental well-being, and how to grow old with attitude.

Caregivers of persons with dementia can learn about how to better integrate them into the community through the talk “Integrating Dementia Care – the Community Perspective” by speakers from ADA, while friends and families of those with dementia can develop a more comprehensive understanding of the condition and what their loved ones go through in “Integrating Dementia Care – the Community Perspective”.

Conference fees start from as low as $10. Register before 31 July and enjoy early bird discounts.
