Official Statement by ADA regarding the Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) 1024 205 Dementia Singapore

 

In light of 2019-nCoV and its effects on Singapore, ADA is closely monitoring the developments of the coronavirus infection in Singapore and the advisories issued by Ministry of Health.

 

ADA deems the care, safety and health of all our persons with dementia, caregivers, volunteers, partner organisations and staff to be of utmost importance. As such, we would like to offer assurance that we are taking all the precautionary measures possible. However, these measures may cause some inconvenience to the clients and caregivers using our services/programmes.

Here are some of the precautionary measures which have been implemented:

  • Non-critical programmes and services will be temporarily ceased or rescheduled until further notice. More details on affected programmes, services and events will be released at a later time.
  • Critical programmes, services and events will carry on but please note that ADA will be conducting on-site screenings such as temperature-taking and confirmation of travel history.
  • All visitors to our Centres and office premises will be screened before being allowed admission.
